However, your "fit" with a firm is much less straightforward than whether you do well in a case interview.Results, results, results! One of the biggest mistakes in resumes is focusing on what you do rather than what you have done. Resumes should showcase what you accomplish as evidenced by results. For instance, a standard resume might say, “Developed a marketing strategy for a CPG manufacturer,” whereas a stronger resume would say, “Developed a marketing strategy for a CPG manufacturer, which resulted in a 20% increase in sales.”The consulting industry is getting more and more competitive every year.
